Prof. Florian Weigend is head of the Quantum Molecular Systems unit at IQMT and of the working group on their quantum chemical description. The group is engaged in the further development and application of the TURBOMOLE quantum chemistry software package, focusing on relativity and magnetic properties. In collaboration with experimental groups, the research focus is on the properties of cluster compounds.
