German Crystal Growth Conference 2026

Announcement
We cordially invite you to the German Crystal Growth Conference 2026 (DKT 2026), taking place from March 4 to 6, 2026, in Karlsruhe, under the auspices of the German Society for Crystal Growth (DGKK).
The city of Karlsruhe, home to the renowned Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), offers a dynamic and cutting-edge scientific environment. Its historic foundations in engineering and innovation, combined with a modern research infrastructure, make it an ideal setting for fostering scientific exchange. The city’s distinctive radial layout, centred around the Karlsruhe Palace, reflects the spirit of openness that DKT 2026 seeks to embody.
The conference will focus on the scientific foundations of experimental, theoretical, and applied crystallization. Key topics include the growth and characterization of bulk semiconductors, epitaxy of III/V semiconductors, crystal growth kinetics, and the development of crystals for laser applications and nonlinear optics. Industrial crystal growth and crystallization for solid-state and quantum materials research will also feature prominently in the program.
We are pleased to announce that DKT 2026 will include a diverse range of invited talks, contributed presentations, and poster sessions—offering a vibrant platform for scientists from both academia and industry to connect and share their latest findings.
We look forward to welcoming you to Karlsruhe for an inspiring and productive conference.
